How 'bout some butternut squash soup? ~*~*~*~*~*~* Grill 1 cup sweet onions in a tablespoons of butter for four minutes until lightly browned, then add half a teaspoon of cinnamon and a half of teaspoon of nutmeg. Cook for another minute. Cube one medium sized butternut squash, 3 cups of chopped carrots and one large sweet potato. In a large pan or slow cooker add 3 cups of low sodium vegetable or chicken broth and 3 cups of water to the chopped veggies. Add the onions. Bring to a boil and summer 35 minutes.
