How's lunchtime in your neck of the woods? We sliced hard boiled eggs and packed them into an avocado peel "boat", served with raspberries, avocado, and a green salad topped with shredded @kerrygoldusa cheese. Oh, I see your raised eyebrows. I know you're skeptical that a toddler would even touch a green salad. Do you know how kids learn to eat all foods? By exposure, exposure, exposure and by watching YOU eat them. It can take months - even years - but the effort pays off, my friend. Even putting a few lettuce leaves on their plate is a great way to get them comfortable with it. Remember that you provide, they decide. Pressure's off. To make it more fun, I let my 3-year-old hold a "big girl" {real size} fork and say "cheers" before we took a bite {see previous video}. I also asked her if she wanted to eat it with her fingers, which she found funny since she sees me always using a fork for salad. What if she didn't touch it? No pressure, no coaxing, just move along! Maybe next time. What did you have for lunch? Was it yummy and satisfying to you? #feedinglittleslunches #salad #avocado #raspberries #eggs #feedingtherapy #slp #funwithfood #healthyeating #healthykid #lunch #schoollunch
