Happy hump 🐫 day! Who are my baby-led weaning peeps 🐥✋? This is a simple, balanced lunch in which common choking hazards {chicken sausage, grapes, baby carrots} are modified to be safe for baby. Quarter the sausage and grapes 🍇 {remove skin if able} and steam or roast the baby carrots until soft. Served with some real cheddar cheese 🧀 broken into pieces. Note: this meal requires the pincer grasp, which 6-8 month olds may or may not have mastered! Think produce 🌱 and protein {plant or animal based} at every meal!
